Farm to table dinners
Our Farm to Table dinners are intimate, plant-based culinary experiences that showcase the fresh, flavorful produce grown at Springhouse Farm and our local chefs. Meet folks and enjoy good conversation while savoring the bounty of the season surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Every year we put a little spin on our dinners. In 2026 we are introducing the Springhouse Storyteller Series where we will explore the history of our area. Dr Alice Wright, a professor of Archaeology at ASU, will be the guest speaker at our dinner in July. She will speak about the first people who inhabited this area, Native Americans whose arrowheads we find on the farm. Stephen Suddreth, author of A History of the Blowing Rock Area 1400-1900, will discuss the early settlers in the Watauga area at our dinner in August and regale us with tales of all who passed through our farm over the years.
What to expect
Join us for our Springhouse Storyteller Series in July and August. We will explore our local history with guest speakers before enjoying a seasonal Farm to Table dinner made with ingredients grown right here on our farm. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Watauga County Historical Society. Read more details about our storytellers when you purchase your tickets.
Every dinner is a little different but the focus stays the same: local food, meaningful conversation, and a sense of community.
Planning Your Visit
Farm to Table Dinners are ticketed events and tend to fill quickly. We recommend reviewing event details ahead of time and planning to arrive a few minutes early to get settled.
These dinners take place outdoors in our covered Pavilion, so weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes are encouraged.
