THE FACTS Fresh is best. It's been proven that the nutrient content of vegetables declines with time while being shipped and in storage. Our farmstand is stocked daily May through October to ensure premium quality. By using less packaging than the traditional grocery store, we drastically reduce our carbon footprint. Our food is transported straight from the field to the wash station to the produce stand. Purchasing hyperlocal produce ensures that we can continue to be a valuable asset to our community. We work hard to create a safe and happy environment for our interns, employees, volunteers, and our pollinators. Eating local promotes connection - when you visit our produce stand, chances are you will see us out in the field growing your food. There's no mystery about how it was raised. We encourage questions and are very transparent about our growing practices. Nothing compares to the taste of fresh, organically grown, seasonal vegetables.
