SOURDOUGH WORKSHOP

TIME: 3:00pm-4:30pm
COST: $30 Per Person
Join us for a hands-on creative workshop and learn how to make your own sourdough bread right here on Springhouse Farm. Instructor Emma Green will provide you with:
Lesson on how to accomplish the biggest steps in the process of sourdough bread making.
Sample of sourdough bread to taste.
Recipe Cards (including how to feed starter, ingredients to make dough, process of makig bread).
Needed Ingredient Cards (list of curcial tools/ingredients before making first loaf)
Optional jars of 6 year old sourdough starter for sale for $15.
Light refreshments will be served.
About Emma: “I’m a junior at Appalachian State University and will be an intern on Springhouse Farm for the 2026 season. In my free time I love cooking and baking, skiing, photography. traveling, and spending time with my friends”.
