Community Supported Agriculture
"CSA" stands for Community Supported Agriculture: weekly subscription produce boxes.
CSA members purchase a "share" of the farmer's harvest at the beginning of the growing season,
and receive a weekly box of fresh-picked produce straight from the farm!
CSA is a partnership between the community and the farm, in which the community's
subscription payments provide the early-season funds farms need to purchase seeds and supplies,
and the farm in turn supports the community by reserving a portion of the harvest for our CSA members.
Our CSA season is 20 weeks long, with pickup available Saturdays and Tuesdays.
We offer two produce box sizes: a full share and a half share.
Full Share : approximately 7 types of vegetables each week, a $25.50/week value. Cost: $510
Half Share: approximately 5 types of vegetables each week, a $18/week value. Cost: $360
CSA Pickup Times:
Saturdays at the Watauga County Farmer's Market between 8am and 11:30pm
Tuesdays between 12pm and 6pm at the produce stand at Springhouse Farm
